The Brookmill Pub & Kitchen

The Brookmill Pub & Kitchen is a beautifully refurbished cosy gastopub in Deptford, South-East London.

The recently reopened gastropub has a very welcoming feel, opening up to the bar with restaurant at the back of this very country side feel food house. This Brookmill might be new but hosts a  great  kitchen headed up by chef Olly Marlowe a previous sous chef at the Michelin-starred The Glasshouse and Chez Bruce.

The Menu offers a various range of classics at ££ but with quality to match. The eatery mixes between traditional flavours and modern British and European flavours . Plus almost everything on the menu is Organic or natural.

We would personally recommend the Home made Sourdough bread and parsley whipped butter which is all made in-house, while you wait for the starters. The Burrata with Aubergine Caviar as a starter will not go unloved and the Bavette steak as your main.(pink of course)

Because the portions are quite generous and the food is rich , when you choose a dessert, maybe one to share is a good option.

You’ll be met by very friendly staff with a home away from home feel. The Brookmill Pub & Kitchen, Deptford,  also gave us that festive feeling , so whether it’s tea, beer or just somewhere to read you’ll be met by great food and a really calm ambience.

The Brookmill Pub & Kitchen has heart and such a great place to head to. It is a little out of the way but if you’re in the Area it’s a great  little time.
