Starbucks, Kyoto

 

Starbucks based in Kyoto, Japan might be one of the coolest and soon to be iconic coffee houses out there. The coffee giant has unveiled their new Kyoto store taking up residence in a 100-year-old, traditional Japanese townhouse.  In respect of the tea-house Starbucks ops for a more traditional interior and service. Anyone who looks to visit will need to be prepared to remove shoes prior to entry and sit traditionally on cushions.
