Nerva Boutique Hotel sums up what we class as “Boutique”. A small 19 roomed hotel located in the historic centre of Rome between the Colosseum and Piazza Venezia. What is great about Rome is you’re never too far away from history but what Nerva lacks in grandeur, it makes up in geographic.
When you enter you’ll be met with its small reception adjacent to a reasonably sized breakfast and tea room, what we did expect from Nerva was tradition, with it being an old family owed hotel but Nerva, Rome is a modern, downtown boutique housed in a historic building.
The staff here are exceptional. Detailed, informed and informative. We were offered recommendation list of Restaurants, Bars, Nightlife and Tours which they can set up for you and other tourist gems that just might not be on the radar.
One downfall of this hotel is its need of updating in certain areas, The rooms are clean, beautifully thought about and presented but there are a few, can miss details that need a bit of TLC. Don’t let this throw you off, Nerva Boutique Hotel is a charming family run operation offering you the best and value for money. Great location, Free Wifi, laundry, room service and parking.
Prices range from €115(non peak) to €450 (peak) dependant on room.
