Japanese lifestyle brand MUJI, known for offering everything from erasers to three-story homes, running cafés, bakeries and even a couple of campsites in Japan, unveiled their new Hotel in China by Creative studio Super Potato. The 79-room Shenzhen hotel is housed in a multi-use facility called UpperHills at the heart of the city.
“All trips, whether for business, sightseeing or long-term stays, are supported first and foremost by quality sleep. We designed a space for exceptional relaxation, providing indirect lighting to release tension and guide guests to a comfortable slumber; coil mattresses with the best firmness for any sleeping position; gently enveloping bath towels, and so on. Five types of rooms are available.”
The brand plans to unveil three more locations across China and Japan in Beijing and in Tokyo, the latest is said to open in 2019 in Ginza on the top floors of a brand new ten-story Muji flagship.
