Lion Noir, Restaurant And Bar, Amsterdam

Amsterdam is spinning out to be one of coolest cities in Europe, and like many booming cities, it is also home to some of the coolest bars and restaurants around.

Lion Noir since its 2010 debut is run by hipsters at heart, Casper Reinders, Mr. Yen and Serge Rijn who also developed Bo5 and Dynasty in Amsterdam. Lion Noir tucked away on the Reguliersdwarsstraat and can easily be missed, but once inside the weird and wonderful eatery dishes up delight via taste and aesthetic.

This historical building is loitered with wacky and wonderful from Taxidermy birds, abstract art and strange memorabilia paired with lavish velvet trimmings and eye-pleasing staff. This a the hot spot for some of the coolest kids in the city, offering up Lunch, dinner, and cocktails available on the upper floor or courtyard.

Lion Noir offers a simple French menu from Oysters, Duck breast with polenta fries, candied duck leg croquette, Madame Jeannette, sprouts and duck liver Madeira sauce to a rich array of sweet and accompanying dessert wines.
