Now Fashion season for all involved is a big time of year, what you wear , what shows you see and where you lay your head at night is just as important. We got invited to spend Fashion Season at the Mon Hotel Paris, a Luxury Boutique hotel in heart of the city. First Impressions count and after a flight, a lot of packing and a strut in your Louboutins through a busy airport tempers wear thin, but a great greeting from hotel staff just might make the difference.

The team was greeted by the doorman, taken to reception and check-in was smooth as silk. Handed the keys and a pile of fashion mail we we’re ready to see the room. The hotel boasts an incredible sense of style and modern chic, from fresh roses, modern chandeliers in reception to the gorgeous velvet interior red lift that hovered us to our Deluxe Balcony room.

The room was bright, clean and overlooked the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysées only minutes away, it couldn’t feel any more Parisian….Maybe with a croissant or two. Now like every fashion season, the propaganda begins as soon as you land and no sooner. The room had a great working station, for those ever so important glasses of wine, and of course if you had a portable computer that worked too.

We spent four fabulous nights at the Mon, accompanied by breakfast of course, which offered a great selection of fruits, cereals, Parisian delights and of course deserts. Damn our sweet tooth.  The Staff that served us were, courteous, polite and after a long night of partying and having to get up, make-up smudged  again made our stay that most pleasant. The breakfast area was the bar in the evenings and transformed itself beautifully.

I guess you just want to know, will we stay here again, and is this for you? Then yes, and maybe…. The Mon is great place for anyone looking to visit Paris and stay in the heart of the city, Surrounded by great bars and walking distance from the some of the chicest stores. We would say that the Mon is a sophisticated basket of indulgence so if you’re looking for that party location and somewhere to just “Turn up”, this probably isn’t the right place, but for us the party can left outside.
