Argentinian delights @ Gaucho [Tower Bridge, London]

Originally Argentinian now infusing tastes from across Latin America, Gaucho already a British culinary acclaim restaurant now under the new direction of Martin Williams, CEO of M Restaurants and former Gaucho MD, is looking to elevate the Gaucho brand, and we are here for it.

With the signature modern-meets-business Interiors and clientele, the Argentinian-themed restaurant welcomes you into a spacious dining room of ample seating of greys and glass throughout.

As Gaucho really is a busy hot-spot, on arrival you might just have to wait but the friendly staff will make sure you dive into one of their signature cocktails from the second-floor bar.

The menù offers variety, with Gaucho now offering a ‘Classics’ and ‘Nuevo’ option on most of their signature dishes of rich Argentinian flavours with a modern Twist. The ‘Chipas’ (Argentinian Cheese dumplings) whilst you wait for the food to arrive might just have you salivating, but don’t get carried away. Call on the team’s sommelier and dive into their great wine selection and pairings.

Gaucho really is all about the meats on offer here and the incredible raring and they are not afraid to show you how good it is. The different cuts available are brought to the table and explained in taste and characteristics, so whatever the choice you won’t be disappointed.

Some of our favorite dishes on offer came from its fish selection from Seared scallops, served in the shell with blood pudding, spiced orange butter, charred orange, chorizo crumble and nasturtium as the starter to Tuna & Palmito Ceviche, offering fresh catch and difference paired with grapefruit and pomegranate.

Note: Gaucho is definitely a great date destination as the service is attentive, the atmosphere is elegant but not formal and the Ingredients source is highly cured making it a great eatery spot around London and now offering a Sunday Brunch.
