Pinero|Serene unveil ‘Take My Soul’ Visuals

Beautifully matched and melancholy in all the right (and wrong) ways, PINERO|SERENE brings German/Filipino bass player, Cheryl Pinero and UK vocalist, Neeq Serene musical vision to life in ‘Take my Soul’ the first single and video from their debut EP “Dark Matter“.

The Visuals shot completely in black and white keeps to Serene and Pinero’s mysterious and melancholy style, which we can only describe as enchanting and dream-like with video direction thanks to Chris Turner aka  “Favourite Colour: BLack”.

Speaking on the track PINERO|SERENE comment: “‘Take My Soul’ was the birth of our songwriting synthesis and was written at a time when we were both emotionally vulnerable and unshielded. In our music, we have cultivated that sentiment, to present an honest and powerful state of being that we hope others may identify with.”

Neeq layers dreamy out of this world sounding vocals with Pinero’s badass bass arrangements. Doing it for the Girls!
