Nile Rodgers & Chic announce new album, ‘It’s About Time’

After a 25-year Hiatus disco funk legends, Nile Rodgers & Chic unveiled their new album entitled It’s About Time, the group’s first album since 1992’s Chic-ism. The two-part album features a stream of stars from  Vic Mensa, Mura Masa, Lady Gaga, Elton John, Craig David, Nao, Emeli Sande, and Stefflon Don not to mention its incredible remake of their Chic album cover, 1977 now including models of the moment Duckie and Jazzelle Zanaughtti.

“When I first came up with the concept for the first Chic album cover more than 40 years ago it was a deliberate statement that we could all be abundant, we could all be with the beautiful people, we could all be included, we could all have good times. Looking at the world today for the release of It’s About Time I felt that it was important to make those statements again for a new generation” – Nile Rodgers

The albums first installment is out now, Stream BTS of the new Album cover below.
