Surreal Portraits By Ben Zank

American photographer Ben Zank presents works play with the idea of perception and surrealism. With his portraits series following his move from New York City to New Zealand, Zank looked at the ideas of isolation. In a statement about his work, Zank says, “The images represent an ongoing experience of emotions that I feel, the most recent being isolation and a longing to connect with another human being.”
