STREET IDENTITIES

Italian fashion photographer and student of London College of Fashion (UAL) Jo Fetto presents his series of black and white images titled’Street Identities’. The Young photographer captures synergy between skater, surroundings and youth culture.

Fetto wanted to capture the several “characters” that crossed paths and explores the similarities and distinctiveness in each skaters personality.

“My models are people who I choose because of their genuineness, their own authentic styles and attitude, which concern my idea of fashion as “dominium of instincts”In fact, I really give a strong relevance to my sensibility and impetus in order to achieve a hidden and unaffected view of a person or a situation.”

“In a world where the fashion industry is interested in the street style more and more; where the word “underground” is becoming little by little associated to “mainstream”, it is really hard to meet people like these guys, who remind me that there is still something new and undiscovered in the world outside.
