Sound: Emerald Lullabies by Jury

Words by Marvin Maddix

Juri an Italian Acoustic, Folk artist unveiled visuals alongside his latest EP, titled “Emerald Lullabies”. The debut track “It’s so fine” direct by Andrea Cominoli and Stefano Bianchi lays the foundation of his sound for 2017. The 14 track EP bares honest truth, from the artist use of live band, real recordings and vocals.

There is no doubt that “it’s so fine” is the gem on this body of work but Juri does boast some strong melodic tracks from self titled intro “Emerald Lullabies” and “Writing songs about you”.

There is something Etherial about this compilation of tracks, with the EP only holding 4 full tracks including the debut release alongside snippets, intros and outros but doesn’t fall short of feeling complete.
