The Spring / Summer 2019 menswear collection is about ‘being a tourist in your own city’. Schepers Bosman paints an image of a big city, with unknown, undiscovered peripheral areas. From a modern escapism, they gather exotic elements from their surroundings in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. Fifties mosaics and murals from their neighborhood have been translated into abstract prints, these have been cast as a layer over a modern elaborated holiday wardrobe.
The materials used for the collection are made up of satin pieces of cotton, lightweight denim, jersey, nylon, and silk. All patterns and garments are designed, developed and manufactured in their own studio. Just like the prints, which are applied and embroidered both manually and mechanically. Schepers Bosman renews men’s fashion.
Schepers Bosman is an Amsterdam based designer duo made up of Sanne Schepers (1989) and Anne Bosman (1988) which was formed in January 2017.
