New York-based designer Sandy Liang unveiled her Fall 2018 collection Lookbook.
The collection is bolstered by tailored variances of loosely-fitted coat dresses, glen plaid pleated uniform skirts, and vintage-inspired denim. Liang also introduced a plethora of knitwear. Standouts include an alpaca wool cropped ‘Hickey’ sweater, cut-out and backless cotton sweatshirts and Liang’s very own pooch, Tim Tam, gets a shout-out via a camel-colored wool sweater.
Sandy Liang is a New York based-and-bred designer who draws energy and inspiration for her collections from the magnetism of childhood memory and unsung neighborhood spirit, from chefs in aprons smoking behind restaurant doors to grandmothers shuffling on Canal Street in wide-leg printed pants. Liang grew up in Bayside, Queens, and after briefly attending Rhode Island School of Design for architecture, transferred to Parsons to study fashion design.
