Review: The light phone a phone-away-from-phone.

The designers behind The Light Phone wanted to focus on the necessity and ask users to step away from being too connected. Designed to be used as little as possible, the Light Phone is your phone-away-from-phone. The Light Phone is connected to your current user handset and only makes and receives phone calls. The Light Phone can store 9-speed dials accessed by a long press of the corresponding number on the keypad. It is intentionally limited to this feature set and is the only phone designed to be used as a second phone.

The light phone is no closer to being a replacement for your Andriod or even iPhone X, just based on its durability and size but this little credit card sized phone-away-from-phone does offer the ability for you to be able to switch off and disconnect when you really want to. This little gadget is priced at $150 and currently running at $125 if you bag it now via the brand online store. We think if nothing else this little gem of tech is your way of getting back in connection with yourself and others around you.

The battery life is great for such small, slim gadget. It lasts for several days at a time and charges up quickly. There is no doubt this won’t appeal on a mass scale but for anyone looking to go gadget free for a while or at least limited your plug-in time, this really is a great buy.

The Light phone is limited edition and can be pre-ordered via the brand online store. Here.
