« Recycle, Re-think & Re-design » with BASSCOUTUR

BASSCOUTUR was created in 2008 and launched in 2017. The motto of the brand is « Recycle, Re-think & Re-design », through this message the brand proposes a selection composed of reconstructed silhouettes and technical fabrics.

For the FW19/20 collection, the founder and artistic director, Riadh Trabelsi, decided to pay homage to his entourage by calling the collection: PEOPLE. The goal of this collection was to revisit the concept of clothing by adding a singular vision while keeping the clothes wearable and staying conscious of ecological imperatives.

The Parisian label wants to divert from what seems obvious by integrating a backpack inside a coat or a fanny pack instead of the pocket of one of the short. The collection was produced in the Mediterranean region, more specifically in Tunisia with recycled materials and vintage pieces.
