Leonardo Da Vinci’s Painting Is Going up for Auction for $100 million

Auction house Christie’s has been hired to sell one of  Leonardo da Vinci’s last privately owned paintings titled ‘Salvator Mund’. The painting discovered back in 1909 is currently privately owned and will go up at the Post-War and Contemporary Art evening auction this November 15 in Rockefeller Plaza, New York City.

The painting which depicts Jesus Christ in a robe is set to fetch an estimated value of $100 million. Now that is a whopper.
