Introducing tRASHY CLOTHING

Queer Palestinian Designer Shukri Lawrence behind design collective tRASHY CLOTHING unveiled their capsule collection title “Jerico Shore” in the form of a digital World story.

Jericho is a city in Palestine that is considered to be the summer gateway for many Palestinians. With its house parties, swimming pools, and more house parties, it serves as Palestine’s alternative to Jersey Shore. The new Capsule collection highlights the year 2010, where we (the collective of tRASHY) were growing up watching and following Western Pop culture in our tweens. There’s a lack of Arab representation in Western Pop culture, and this collection brings forth Western art with an Arab twist.
