Mikael Vilchez is a Geneva-born designer who has unveiled his new seasonal offering titled “FORBIDDEN DENIMERIES“. Mikael who has recently graduated in June 2017 with a master degree at HEAD-Genève and won the Mercedes Prize during the fashion show of the school for his collection: Forbidden Denimeries.

Questioning around gender and stereotypes has always been an inspiration in his work. What differentiates male from female? What is virility? How will man define his masculinity in the coming decades? In all cases, transgressions of genders and subcultures are still causing emotion and the idea of making this a style is very stimulating to him.
