Gucci pledges to go fur-free by 2018

GUCCI under the helm of Alessandro Michele has joined Armani and pledges to No fur to be used in any collection by the Spring/Summer 2018 collection. The Italian fashion house CEO Marco Bizzarri announced that Gucci will go fur-free next year and auction off all its remaining animal fur items.

Gucci will become part of the Fur Free Alliance, an international group of more than 40 organisations which campaigns on animal welfare and promotes alternatives to fur in the fashion industry.
