Japan has begun an awareness campaign educating children about being an organ donor through borrowing limbs on soft toys. The campaign by Second Life Toys, depicts restored toys by transplanting limbs donated from other toys.
“It’s a simple but creative way of making critical – but soft unnoticed – issues easier to understand. With only 300 people out of 14,000 on waiting lists receiving transplants yearly, this campaign hopes to leave a positive effect on organ donorship.”
