Words by Marvin Maddix

CasaCau Hotel, Rome is an apartment styled boutique hotel. With only 7 rooms Casa Cau offers opulence, design along with a great location. Only 2 minutes from Trevi Fountain.

The apartments offers romance on your doorstep and proves it doesn’t stop outside. The 17th century building has been designed and thought about with comfortability in mind with no scrimp on creativity and flare. Designed by local interior decorator Nora P, from the fresco-printed headboards, a-joining rooms hidden behind a wardrobe, in room Turkish baths to all it’s  Sixties-inspired décor. Each of the 1 bed apartments delivers you contemporary living and good amount of space, so don’t be worried all rooms are of a good size with smaller apartments offering you a balcony and smart design living.

CasaCau is undoubtedly great for a couple break. It offers discrete luxury living, whilst boasting great in-house daily staff and delivered Breakfast to your door each morning. There is no on-site restaurant but your room does host a kitchenette and large dining space (dependant on room) with menu of inclusive foods and beverages to those added extras. Don’t worry if you want to see the town and eat out you are just above a strip of restaurants and the hotel owns Michelin eatery Stazione di Posta which staff are happy to book for you.

Just a heads up if you don’t pack light, Casacau has no lift like so many century old converted buildings in Rome, so you’ll need to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the first set of rooms.

Check out times will need to pre-arranged with staff as desk is only manned during the day.

Double rooms from £213.62 (€243) per night Exc 11% tax.
