British Fashion Council and Seoul Fashion Week Support British and Korean Design Talent MUNN

MÜNN have been confirmed to debut their SS20 collection in London on Saturday, June 8th, 2019 at 11: 00 as part of the official schedule for London Fashion Week Men’s (LFWM) June 2019. The British Fashion Council (BFC) partnered with Seoul Fashion Week with a shared mission to support the business objectives of their respective emerging designers by showcasing them directly to an extended audience of buyers, media and consumers in their respective markets and the international regions they are the gateway to.

The partnership builds on a program launched last year when Seoul Fashion Week was able to fund the London debut of Korean menswear designers Blindness at London Fashion Week Men’s June 2018 and PUSHBUTTON to show their SS19 collection at London Fashion Week September 2018. This past March, Cottweiler was the first British menswear brand to show their AW19 collection during Seoul Fashion Week, launching this partnership officially. As a result, Cottweiler were able to gain huge exposure in Seoul and across Asia for their brand, along with a number of direct and indirect benefits including a greater commercial footprint in the region as well as new relationships with Asian press, influencers, and buyers.

MÜNN was selected by SFW and BFC teams as the recipient of sponsorship to stage their AW19 show in London this June with the help of an international cast of judges. Voted, in October 2018 as Best Designer by representatives of Net-a-Porter, Galleries Lafayette, Selfridges, Opening Ceremony, alongside world renown press such as Sarah Maino and Anders Madsen from Vogue, Isabella Burley from Dazed, and Alexander Fury from Financial Times and AnOther Magazine.
