African Model recreates Fashion Adverts in the bid for Diversity

Liberian born model, activist and writer Deddeh Howard teamed up with photographer Raffael Dickreuter and makeup artist Jessica Davis to create a series of images titled “Black Mirror.”

The images see Howard recreate some of biggest fashion ads in great detail. Howard looks to challenge the industries ideas of beauty after being turned down by several agencies who told her they “already had a black model.”
