Like most Londoners, we find we are ones to shy away from the madness of Leicester Square and its ever bustling club goers and street acts but there is now one very good reason to head into one of busiest square’s in Central London. Leicester Square Kitchen situated right on the square is a Mexican and Peruvian fusion restaurant offering contemporary small plates with a burst of flavour.
The Leicester Square Kitchen which only opened may of this year is Sister restaurant to the May Fair Kitchen and Monmouth Kitchen and is run by Amir Jati, ex-Nobu Head of Private Dining and now Service Excellence Director for Edwardian Hotels London, owners of Leicester Square Kitchen. The decor can only be defined as casual Luxe. Brick bare walls with windows looking out on Leicester square but never loosing its charm, the indoors takes you a step away from the madness and at every moment enjoyable. The white bar, clad with white architectural glazed brick has a zinc top complemented by white bar chairs, where guests can either sit for a drink or dine from the live taco bar.
